Lost Islands
Lost Islands
A cataclysm shattered the known world into a handful of islands adrift in the void. You wake as a Stranger with no memory at all, and from there curiosity is everything. The world is huge and veiled in fog: land reveals itself only where you have been, and beyond the edge of sight question marks hint at someone or something waiting.

There is no combat and no timer here. There is walking, talking and patience. Step up to a villager, act, and they introduce themselves, share a piece of gossip, or trade grain for wood and hides for wool. Step up to an ancient shrine and sit to meditate: clarity builds, and when it fills you grasp one of eight virtues. Gather all eight, gain Enlightenment, find the mystic and the moonstone, and only then will the red moon gate let you go home.
This is Ælbahkat / Lost Islands (MIT) by Luke Nickerson from the 2017 js13k contest — a whole survival world packed into 13 kilobytes. We brought it to igrasu.ru in full: the intro, inventory, tips, virtue and shrine names are translated. It plays from the keyboard (arrows/WASD, E, M) and from a phone — tap the screen to set a direction, tap the center to act, with a D-pad on the left. The toolbar holds language, pause and fullscreen. Turn the demo on and watch the autopilot wander the islands and meet the villagers.
