Durak: Trump Card — the card classic against the computer

The classic that needs no introduction

Durak is the card game people used to stay up all night playing. Now it lives in your browser: sit down at the table against a computer that remembers every card played and shows no mercy.

The rules in a nutshell

36-card deck, trump determined by the bottom card, six cards dealt each. Attack with a card — defend with a higher card of the same suit or a trump. Defend successfully and it is your turn to attack; fail and you pick up the whole table.

The key mechanic is tossing in extra cards: while there is something to add, the attacker and allies keep piling cards onto the table. Leaving the table with two sixes means collecting a whole bunch on top.

Who you are playing against

The computer does not peek and does not cheat, but it plays like an adult:

1. It hoards trumps — never wastes them on minor defenses.

2. It counts cards — it knows when only strong hands remain in the deck.

3. It attacks in pairs — forces you to spend your trumps on its small cards.

Tips

  • Do not be afraid to pick up: six cards in hand is better than a trump in the opponent's hand plus your fives.
  • Attack with pairs of the same rank — they are harder to beat off.
  • Watch the trump at the bottom of the deck: the last trump is often the last hope.

Who it is for

Anyone who wants a quick game with no registration and no donations. One game is five minutes — but what five minutes: from pure joy to "how did that happen" in a single round.
