Lost Islands is a meditative survival roguelike from js13k 2017: explore the islands, talk to the villagers, meditate at the shrines and find your way home.
How to play:
You wake as a Stranger with no memory in a world shattered by cataclysm. Walk the island, step up to villagers, shrines and moon gates, then act. Your goal is to explore everything: find all eight shrines of virtue, seek out the mystic, earn a moonstone and enter the red moon gate to go home.
Controls:
Arrows or WASD to move. E or Space acts when near someone or something (talk, activate a gate, meditate). M meditates. I or Tab toggles the inventory. Plus and minus zoom the camera. On a phone a tap sets the direction, a tap in the center acts, and there is a D-pad on the left. Top buttons: RU/EN language, pause and fullscreen.
Rules:
The world is huge and veiled in fog: land reveals itself only where you have been. Meditating at a shrine builds clarity and grants one of eight virtues; all eight bring Enlightenment. Villagers barter supplies such as grain, wood, hides and wool. A boat speeds you on water, a coat in the mountains, water in the desert, and a tent makes time pass faster. The red gate only admits one who holds the moonstone.

First circle the island and gather supplies from the villagers. Meditate at every shrine until clarity fills. Find the mystic and the moonstone, then the red gate. Carry a torch at night, since visibility drops in the dark.
