Flight Deck
Flight Deck
A night ocean, a moon above the mast, and a deck that lives its own life: the sea rocks the carrier, angrier with every approach. In Flight Deck you have exactly one control — the throttle. Hold your finger: the engine spools down, the jet brakes and sinks heavy. Release: it settles into a glide. All of carrier aviation is knowing when to let go.

The job is to catch one of the four arresting cables before the ramp. Come in too fast and the wire rips free — bolter, go-around, burned fuel. Sail past the ramp and you eat a penalty. Drop below the deck and the run is over. The earlier the wire and the softer the contact, the richer the landing.
Fuel drains every second, and the sea whips up with every trap. How many wires can you catch on one tank?
