Flight Deck — a carrier landing with one control: the throttle. The deck breathes with the sea; arrive at the arresting wires slow, low and level.
Four arresting cables stretch across the deck. The tailhook must catch any one of them before the ramp: the earlier the wire and the softer the contact, the richer the landing. Come in too fast and the cable rips free — that's a bolter, a go-around, and burned fuel. Sail past the ramp and you eat a penalty. Drop below the deck edge or kiss the water and the run is over.
Fuel drains every second, and every landing whips the sea up a notch: higher swell, a wilder deck, less time to flare. See how long you can stretch one tank — the score counts trapped wires and landing quality.
