Patience Tester
Most arcade games demand reaction: hurry, press, dodge. Patience Tester is built the other way around. Here the winner is the player who does not rush, keeps a steady hand and refuses to grab everything bright.
How the device works
On screen there is a pressure gauge and a green working zone. Hold the screen or Space and the needle rises. Release and it falls. The task is simple: keep the needle inside the green zone until the patience bar is full.
It sounds calm until the zone starts moving. Every level makes it narrower and faster, and then decoy buttons appear in the lab: "PRESS!", "DONE", "PRIZE". Pressing any of them costs a life and patience. That is the real exam — not reaction, but self-control.
Why it sticks
- Progress is visible. The patience bar fills before your eyes and the finish always looks close.
- A mistake is expensive but not discouraging. Three lives per shift, each decoy costs one.
- Streak multiplier. The longer the needle stays in the zone, the more points tick in every second.
- The final trap. Near the end a "Claim reward" button appears. Press it too early and you lose a life. Wait it out and you win.
- Short shifts. One device takes a minute or two, perfect for a break.
A small strategy
Do not try to pin the needle to the centre of the zone at any cost: predicting where the zone goes matters more. On narrow zones short pulses work better than one long hold — press, release, press again. And keep your finger away from the bright buttons: they appear in random places precisely to make you miss.
Play online
The game runs right in your browser on desktop and mobile: hold your finger on the screen or use Space on the keyboard. Nothing to install. Open "How to play" next to the board if you want a refresher, and come back to beat your record.
