Society Fail — a post-apocalyptic survival incremental game
Every apocalypse starts the same way: with silence. In Society Fail, that silence is a lie. Predators prowl the ruins, water is poisoned, and every morning brings a new event that could be your last.

What the game is
This is an incremental survival simulator set in a ruined world. You manage a squad of three survivors who gather food, water and wood to survive another day. But days are not endless — if supplies run out, or disease wipes out the squad, the cycle begins again.

Systems and mechanics
Resources
There are four resources: food, water, wood and knowledge. Food and water drain automatically every day. Wood is needed for buildings and upgrades. Knowledge unlocks technologies that automate chores or grant new abilities.
Six hidden modules
At first the screen shows six grey rectangles with riddles. Each is unlocked by its own upgrade:
- Ancient Knowledge — research and technologies
- Mysterious Crops — farming with planting and harvesting
- Hidden Waters — a well for automatic water collection
- Mysterious Tracks — hunting wild animals
- Untamed Forest — a lumber mill for passive wood gathering
- Unexplored Horizon — a watchtower: rescue new survivors
Random events
Thirty-seven events can happen on any day: wild animal attacks, illness, drought, bountiful harvests, unexpected visitors and more. Every event gives a choice, and the consequences affect resources, health or party morale.
Party morale
The survivors' condition affects efficiency: well-fed and rested survivors work faster, while hungry and sick ones slow down and gather less. Keep an eye on the morale indicator under the clock.
Specializations
Each survivor can choose a specialization: food gatherer, lumberjack, researcher, medic and more. Specializations give bonuses to specific actions.
Achievements and automation
As you progress you unlock achievements, and some technologies let you automate resource gathering — drones, automated feeding systems, water purification and more.
Why you should play
Society Fail is not just a clicker. You have to balance four resources, make decisions under pressure from random events, and plan development several days ahead. Every run is unique: events happen in different order, and choices made on day one echo on day one hundred.
If you enjoy A Dark Room or Kittens Game, this game follows the same path, but with an emphasis on squad management and random events.
