Shadow of the Watchers — RTS of the last age before the Flood

Shadow of the Watchers: Three Factions of Fate

A real-time strategy about the last age before the Great Flood. The world is regenerated for every match, and three asymmetric factions meet on it — you can pick any, and each one demands a different style of play.

The Covenant Cities are balanced and classical: workers and armies. The Watcher Remnant is a small but elite faction steeped in magic. The Nephilim Clans bring brutal melee and cheap numbers. The economy is shared: grain, timber, bronze, divine favor and forbidden knowledge. You raise farms, barracks, foundries and temples — then build an army to tear down the enemy's seat of power.

The game is technically striking: graphics and sound are fully procedural, with no external assets at all. Fog of war covers the map and a minimap keeps you oriented. The AI opponent plays for real — the difficulty levels feel genuinely different. There's a 5-mission campaign and daily trials.

Controls are standard for the genre: WASD or arrows pan the camera, Q/E rotate, the wheel zooms. Left-click selects, right-click issues an order — move, attack or gather. B opens the build menu, F is attack-move, X is stop, H returns to base, and Space jumps to the alert.
