The Path of Most Resistance Puzzle: a close look, tips and whether it is worth your time
If you enjoy short sessions that are hard to walk away from, give this one a look. Below is everything you need before the first launch: the gist, the controls and some working techniques.

What this game is
The Path of Most Resistance — a bridge-building puzzler by Trezy Studios, made for js13kgames 2020 (theme: "resistance is futile"; the whole game fits in 13 kilobytes using pixel screen rendering and bitmap fonts, with only a handful of raster assets). On the isometric field you receive tetromino-like tiles one at a time and must lay a path so a courier robot can walk it to the portal.
How to play, in short
10 maps with playful names (Precondition Required, Bad Request, I'm a teapot, Payload Too Large, Unprocessable Entity and more) unlock in order; each map's high score saves automatically. Score on the leaderboard — the number of maps you cleared.
Controls
on phones, the on-screen D-pad (▲▼◀▶ move the frame, ▣ places a tile, GO runs the bot, ↺ resets the map); on a computer, arrow keys / WASD plus Space and Enter. Top buttons switch language (RU/EN), pause, and toggle fullscreen. Russian labels are drawn natively over the Latin bitmap atlas, so the RU UI stays fully readable.
A few final tips
- Check out the demo mode on the game page — the AI shows how it is played, and repeating it yourself gets much easier.
- Play in short sessions: the best results come with a warmed-up head.
