Keepy-Up: a simple game that hooks you for hours
Why one kick turns into a hundred
It seems easy — kick the ball, catch it, kick again. But the ball speeds up. By the tenth kick you need focus, and by the twentieth — near-perfect reflexes. Keepy-Up is a game of rising tension: each kick is slightly harder than the last.

How to start
The first five kicks are warm-up. The ball flies slowly and there's nothing to worry about. But don't relax: after the tenth kick the speed increases. The secret is to kick at the peak of the arc — that gives you the most time to prepare.
Common mistakes
- Panic when it speeds up. The ball moves faster so you kick more. But frantic kicks without planning lead to losing control.
- Kicking the center. If you kick straight down, the ball flies sideways. Compensate for horizontal drift.
- Starting too early. Some players kick before the ball rises enough. Wait for the peak.
How to build a long rally
Count kicks out loud. It helps keep rhythm. Don't look at the score — look at the ball. And most importantly — don't try to kick harder. Power isn't needed, precision is.
