Haruta: Ash Seal

The Kagami archipelago survived the Millennial Storm, and the air kept the Aether haze. People learned to turn it into elements — everyone carries a Seal that tells the world who they are: Flame, Tide, Stone, Wind or Void. Haruta's Seal tells nothing. An ash-grey spiral belongs to no school, and for that they call him hollow.

Haruta: Ash Seal is a browser arena action game where that hollowness turns out to be the machinery of the world. Haruta's Seal is an Anchor, a lock on the cage where the Storm has been sleeping for a thousand years. And someone wants the lock opened.

How it plays

Combat is not one-button spam. Every element has four techniques plus an ultimate, and they all behave differently: Spark is a projectile, Pillar of Fire launches enemies, Quake knocks down a crowd, Shroud pulls you out of a surround, and Sacrifice trades health for a Resonance segment.

Then it gets interesting. Resonance fuses two elements: Flame plus Wind becomes Fire Whirl, Tide plus Stone becomes Mud Shell, Void plus Wind gives invisibility and a dash. Ten fusions, ten different tactics, all available in a single fight.

And there is the Rift. It triples your damage but inverts your controls, cuts your defence and lets you hit your own companion by accident. Sometimes it is the only way to finish a boss. Sometimes it is how you lose a beautiful fight.

What is inside

  • 12 story chapters with dialogue, branching choices and three endings: House, Order and Rift.
  • Eight playable heroes with passive abilities — Haruta, Ren, Tobo, Mei, Kai, Nami, Sora, Gen.
  • An Arena with endless waves of the Otherside and a leaderboard.
  • The Seal Workshop: Seal Nodes upgrade techniques to enhanced and master level.

It runs right in the browser — no install, no sign-up, in Russian and English.
