Summon: Battler Arena

You cannot help your units during a battle here. You can only bring the right squad to the arena, place it right, and not go broke doing it.

How the arena works

1. A round splits into prep and combat. In prep: a shop of five random units, a reroll for one gold, selling, merging three identical fighters into a starred one.

2. Economy builds the squad: base gold, interest on savings, a streak bonus for wins or losses. Saving pays up to the interest cap — after that money has to turn into units.

3. Synergies work by thresholds: two, four and six marks do different things, not merely stronger. Races and classes overlap, so one fighter fits two different plans.

4. Combat is deterministic: target priority, attack speed, mana and finishing blows follow one set of rules. The same placement against the same opponent gives the same result, so hypotheses are testable.

5. Placement is half the squad: the front line holds, corners shoot, and a slow tank standing in front of a thin carry means the carry survives to cast.

6. Victories drop an item: it grants a synergy or a stat, and the third item often changes the plan more than a starred unit does.

Tips

  • Commit to one plan: two half-built cores lose to one built core.
  • Watch what the opponents are playing and do not drag your synergy into the round that counters it.
  • Losing an early round is cheaper than an empty treasury late: hold, collect interest.
