Salt & Sovereigns — a pirate trading saga to a million
Salt & Sovereigns
Eight hundred gold in the purse, an empty hold and the open sea. That is how Salt & Sovereigns begins — a pirate trading saga where the goal is named upfront: a million. Not "beat the game", not "slay the boss" — earn a million and become legend.

First rule of the seas
Buy low — sell high. Sounds simple until you see the map: eight ports, each with its prices, shifting. Rum is cheap where distilled, dear where drunk. Your job is knowing the spread and hauling it.
But the hold is finite and the sea is not empty. Every run is a decision: what to take, where to go, what to risk.
Law and the lawless
The navy has questions — the wanted meter grows from smuggling. Four options: bribe, hide, fight or flee. Each has a price: bribes cost money, fights cost hull, flight costs time.
And there is the other side: pirate havens buying what Crown ports refuse. A black market with auctions — bids, rivals, thrill. A double economy for the fearless.
Empire instead of a ship
Money must work: buy businesses in ports — they trickle nightly. Hire crew, upgrade at the shipwright, insure the hull. Mid-game you sail less and manage more: fleet, holdings, trade routes.
Rest advances a day — markets shift, contracts refresh. Sometimes the best move is sleep.
Who will enjoy it
Fans of trading sagas in the Port Royale and Patrician spirit, but in a browser with no install. No finale here — a number: 800 at start, 1,000,000 at end. Between — sea, markets and decisions. Progress saves in the browser, friend codes compare fortunes.
