What this game is

Q1K3 (Slaughter in the Bunker) — a retro first-person shooter on a hand-made raycaster engine, built for the 2021 js13k competition. "Quake" in 13 kilobytes: a custom WebGL renderer with no third-party libraries, dynamic lighting, 30 procedural textures and Sonant-X synthesized sound and music — not a single external asset, everything is computed by code (maps compiled from TrenchBroom, models from .obj). Two levels of a hellish base, five enemy types (zombies, hounds, grunts, enforcers, ogres), three weapons — a shotgun, a nailgun and a grenade launcher — plus keys and doors. Enemy AI runs line-of-sight checks and gives chase; the collision handling copes with fast-moving projectiles. Controls: WASD or arrow keys to move, left mouse button to fire, space or the right button to jump, Q/E or the mouse wheel to switch weapons; the cursor is grabbed full-screen. On touch devices: an on-screen movement pad, a drag-anywhere look zone and FIRE / JUMP / GUN buttons. WebGL required.
