Some games never age. Pac-Maze on igrasu.ru is our take on the arcade classic where what matters is not raw reflexes but understanding who is chasing you.
Four hunters, four personalities
Unlike clones with identical enemies, here every ghost has its own algorithm:
- Orange always charges straight at your position — predictable but fast.
- Pink sets an ambush: it aims two tiles ahead of you.
- Cyan patrols the corners and switches between hunting and returning home.
- Red behaves chaotically until it gets close — then it sprints after you.
Once you learn these habits you stop fleeing blindly and start directing the hunt.
A strategy for the high score
Don't just run the perimeter. The best trick is to "clear a quadrant", saving a power pellet for when the ghosts cluster. One big dot on the timer and you become the hunter: eat ghosts in a chain, the score grows with a multiplier.
