Mini Sudoku: Simplified Version of the Classic Puzzle
Mini Sudoku is a compact version of the famous Japanese puzzle. Instead of the classic 9×9 board, it uses a 6×6 grid with 2×3 boxes. Smaller size, same logic.

Rules
Fill each empty cell with a digit from 1 to 6. No digit may repeat in any row, column, or 2×3 box. Pre-filled cells (gray) cannot be changed.
Differences from Classic Sudoku
- Smaller board (36 cells instead of 81), so it solves faster
- 2×3 boxes instead of 3×3 — easier to see constraints
- Perfect for those who want to start with Sudoku but are intimidated by the large board
Tips for Solving
- Start with cells where only one possible digit remains
- Use pencil mode for notes about possible digits
- Check rows and columns: if 5 out of 6 digits are placed, the sixth is determined automatically
- Pay attention to 2×3 boxes — they often have only 2-3 options left
