Node Defense
Node Defense
Node Defense is a tower-defense game where the goal is to keep your core alive
against incoming waves. The field is a grid crossed by a winding path; enemies
walk that path from the entrance to the core. Your job is to place towers so that
no enemy ever reaches the goal.

How a match flows
The game runs in waves. Every new wave is longer than the last and sends enemies
with more health and speed. Every few waves a heavy "tank" appears: lots of health,
slow movement, and it drains two units of core energy if it breaks through.
Three tower types
- Pulse — cheap, fires fast and weak, short range. Great as a screen and for cleanup.
- Frost — slows enemies in radius. Medium damage, but the slow decides long engagements.
- Rail — expensive, huge damage and range, slow shot. The best answer to tanks.
Wave timeline
- Waves 1–3: light enemies, a pair of Pulses near the entrance is enough.
- Waves 4, 8, 12: tanks. Keep a Rail ready and an upgraded Frost for them.
- 2.5 seconds between waves — use the gap to build or upgrade key towers.
Placement tips
Put Rail on long straight stretches of the path: one hit drops a tough enemy well
before it nears the core. Keep Frost near bends so slowed enemies stay under your
other guns longer. Do not spend all gold at once — save some to upgrade before the
tanks arrive.
Economy
Every kill grants gold and score. Score is your leaderboard result. Spend gold on
new towers and upgrades: a level raises damage, range and fire rate, while erase
refunds half the price.
