What kind of game is this

Harbor Master is a 46-metre superyacht docking simulator. The daytime marina of Porto Vela: quays, moored yachts, a lighthouse on the hill, real sparkling water. Your beauty is already in the harbour — back her into the green berth, stern to the quay, without touching the quay or the neighbours.

The berth counts when you sit exactly right: within a metre of the target, heading square stern-to the quay (5° tolerance) and almost zero speed. Hold that for a couple of seconds — and the berth is yours. Every bump costs a star: three per berth at most.

How to play: the short version

1. Harbor Master is a 46-metre superyacht docking simulator.

2. The daytime marina of Porto Vela: quays, moored yachts, a lighthouse on the hill.

3. Back the yacht into the green berth, stern to the quay, and hold position for a couple of seconds.

Controls

Controls:

  • ↑ / ↓ — both engines ahead / astern
  • ← / → — twist: one engine ahead, one astern
  • Z / X — thrusters: slide the whole yacht left / right
  • SPACE — all neutral
  • C — camera (chase, top-down, look aft)
  • R — restart the berth
  • On phones — on-screen buttons: the same engines, twist and thrusters

A couple of tips to finish

Three berths, three characters. The first (calm morning, no wind): learn to spin on the spot with split engines and approach stern-first — that is the foundation of the whole game. The second: neighbours on both sides and a 9-knot easterly pushing you sideways — compensate early, not at the berth itself. The third: a tight berth with a gusting 15-knot cross mistral — the thrusters (Z/X) are the main tool here, the engines alone won't squeeze you into that gap.

Watch the docking-assist panel: distance, lateral offset, heading error and closing speed. And the wind arrow — it swings the bow and pushes the stern around. Come in quietly and you will park quietly: three stars go to a clean and fast docking.
