Exilum
Exilum on igrasu.ru is an isometric action RPG in the browser. You descend into
a dungeon, cut down monsters, collect loot and level up. No installs and no
downloads: the world, its textures, animations and sound are generated in code
right in the browser.

What happens in the dungeon
You arrive in tight halls and corridors. Enemies come in waves, each denser than
the last: skeletons, horrors, an "unnamed horror". Combat is fast — a strike at
the cursor, a dash, skills on Q/F/E/R and 1–4. Every level makes the character
stronger: damage grows, new skills appear.
Loot drops from enemies: weapons, helms, body armour, gloves, boots, belts,
amulets and rings. Items come in normal, magic, rare and unique rarities — the
higher the rarity, the more properties. Collected equipment lives in the
inventory on the I key.
Why this is rare for a browser
An action RPG in a browser is usually either a thin wrapper around a server or a
heavy multi-hundred-megabyte download. Here there is neither: all content is
procedural and the engine is Three.js. Shadows, lighting and post-processing run
on the GPU, so the dungeon looks like a full game rather than a set of sprites.
Controls
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| W A S D | move |
| LMB | attack at the cursor |
| Q / F / E / R | skills |
| 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 | second skill row |
| I | inventory and equipment |
| Space | dash |
On a phone everything is available by touch: the stick on the left handles
movement and aiming, the buttons on the right handle attack and skills, and a
tap on the field strikes that spot.
Score and progress
The score adds up kills, level and accumulated experience — it is not reset by
death and goes to the shared platform leaderboard. So even a lost run brings you
closer to the top of the table.
A tip for newcomers: do not stand in the crowd. The dungeon is tight, and being
surrounded kills faster than any single monster.
