Battleship: a classic that never gets old
Battleship looks simple until you start thinking in probabilities. Under the hood this version uses honest random placement without overlaps, hit and sunk-ship highlighting, and an opponent that fires at random cells.

Why it is addictive
Every shot is a guess confirmed or denied. When a "✖" lands next to the previous one, your brain completes the ship and suggests the next cell. Hunting the last long ship is a pleasure of its own.
Three difficulty levels
Easy — five ships on an 8×8 board for quick matches. Normal — seven ships. Hard — nine ships on a 10×10 board where a single mistake is costly. The layout is new every time, so memorising is useless — you have to think.
Where to start
Press "Demo" to watch the machine sink the whole fleet in a few guaranteed shots. Then play yourself: start from corners and edges (short ships often sit there), and keep track of hit chains.
