Picked by statistics, not by editors: the game played most over the last week.
What a collection is
A genre answers a question about mechanics — puzzle, racing, shooter. A collection answers a different one: what to play in this situation. "Five-minute games" is not a genre: it holds arcade titles, snake games and runners, and what unites them is that a round fits in a queue or while the kettle boils.
The lists are not filtered by tag, they are picked by hand: every game is chosen to answer its own collection's question, and the order is the author's, not a view count. Inside each collection every card carries a line on what makes this game different — session length in "Five minutes", controls in "Two keys" — so the reader gets an answer to the question they came with.
If you want a whole genre rather than a choice, the links at the bottom lead to genre pages with many more games. If you have no idea what you want, start with the game of the day: it is picked not by the editors but by what people actually played most over the last week.
Why people play here
Nothing to install A game opens in the browser — on a computer or on a phone. No download, no install, no updates: you press and you play.
Guests can play right away Registration is optional. It is only asked for where nothing works without it: leaderboard scores and choosing a level in games with progression.
Controls are visible on the first screen Some games offer on-screen buttons for phones, others are built for mouse and keyboard. The game shows what to press — there are no rules to learn first.
Questions and answers
How is a collection different from a genre?
A genre is about mechanics: puzzles, racing, card games. A collection is about a choice: what to play for five minutes, what to play with two keys. One collection can hold different genres as long as they answer its question the same way.
Are the games in collections free?
Yes. Games open in the browser, there is nothing to pay for and registration is optional. The site is supported by advertising, which does not make a game paid.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes: games open in a mobile browser. Some of them have on-screen control buttons, others are built for mouse and keyboard — the game page shows which.
How do I pick a game when I do not know what I want?
Start with the game of the day — the one played most over the last week. After that, either a collection for your situation or the full catalogue, where games can be filtered by tag and searched by name.
