Ludus Magnus: School of Gladiators — action

Ludus Magnus is a gladiator-school simulator where success is measured in capital, reputation and living fighters — not points. The name comes from the real Ludus Magnus, the largest gladiator school beside the Roman Colosseum.

You run the whole ludus: build 11 buildings that synergise with each other, grow fighters across eight classes with skill trees, keep staff of seven roles from trainer to medic, watch injuries and morale, take loans and trade on the market. Every week the school lives its own life of costs, drills and events.

Two modes. As the dominus you run the school's economy. As a gladiator you guide one fighter through training, arena bouts, and the money he saves toward his own freedom. The tactical fight is decided by class, stats, condition and chosen skills — not by tapping speed.

How to play:

• Start a new run and pick a mode: dominus or gladiator
• Build and upgrade the ludus buildings — they boost training and health
• Hire staff across seven roles and keep their loyalty
• Put fighters through training, heal injuries, send them to bouts and tournaments
• Trade on the market, take loans, mind reputation and the school's capital
• In gladiator mode, manage one fighter's money and road to freedom

Controls: mouse or tap. Everything works through the actual UI buttons.
